It is Manheim Central's Online schooling. There are a full-time and blended online options available for learners in grades 5-12 and a full-time option available for learners in grades K-4. More information about these options can be found near the bottom of the FAQ.

Yes, learners receive a laptop (grades 5-12), iPad (grades K-4), charger, headphones, and a protective sleeve. Learners are also provided with the supplies they will need for all coursework. If necessary, other equipment is available.

• Manheim Central Online Learning has partnered with Lancaster-Lebanon Virtual Solutions (LLVS) which is part of IU13. Manheim Central teachers facilitate ALL online courses. 

• In addition, Manheim Central High School and Manheim Central Middle School have many online courses developed by MC teachers via Schoology.

Yes, nearly all courses offered in our online program are approved by the NCAA. More detailed information is available to learners and parents through the Guidance Department.

The first step would be to reach out to the teacher and ask for help. If a learner is still having difficulties, please contact the Administrator of Online Learning, Keisha McCauley, your building principal, and/or our Online Learning Coordinators,  Mrs. Lubeskie (grades 5-12), or Mrs. Bridgette ( grades K-4).

There are several advantages that MC Online Learning offers. Some of these include: remaining a Manheim Central learner with all the rights and privileges of a Manheim Central learner (clubs, activities, sports, etc.), assignment to his/her school counselor, earning a Manheim Central diploma, and the ability to take online courses as needed, which allows for the blended or full-time online learning options.

The full-time online approach means the learner is not enrolled in any face-to-face Manheim Central classes, all of their coursework is done online. This track offers two options: fully online at home OR they can use our online classroom to complete the online coursework in the building. This track is at no cost to the learner/parent. There will be a cap for each of the online courses, therefore the building administrator reserves the right to determine if space exists within the course to accommodate the learner.

The blended learning approach means the learner takes some courses online through MCOA and takes some courses face-to-face in the school building. This option is only available for learners in grades 5-12. This track is at no cost to the learner/parent. In addition, the building administrator reserves the right to determine if space exists within the course to accommodate the learner.

In addition to a standard four credit semester at the high school, learners will have the option to pursue an additional 5th credit. This credit will be in addition to the other courses and completed in an online format outside of the regular school day.
